Who are the BC Junior Canucks?
The BC Junior Canucks is the ONLY program that our province has that offers players an opportunity to participate in the renowned Brick Hockey Tournament. The Brick Hockey Tournament, held each summer in Edmonton, Alberta at the West Edmonton Mall, is the most prestigious tournament in North America for top 9 and 10 year olds and offers a truly once in a lifetime experience for hockey athletes.
Why do a Pre Brick Development program?
Preparation is the key ingredient to success at the Brick Hockey Tournament given the unique intensity and attention the young players experience there. As such, we have developed a training program that focuses on preparing young hockey players for their tryout to the BC Junior Canucks by enhancing their individual hockey skills along with providing an early introduction of Brick Hockey Tournament specific game situations.
2014 Brick Tryouts Now Open
The development sessions will be run by the BC Brick Team’s coaching staff as well as WHL/ Junior A hockey level coaches. Summer 2022 Pre Brick and Brick tryouts are available now.
